Faith.
Is it an illusion or real? Does it matter?
A deep and intriguing topic to me, that does not take on one form. Insightful, ritualistic and in the context of what is real and what is not; what is memory and what is longed for. This fractured image reflecting how I see others in their faith and how I still reach in my own. Possibly a journey we cannot complete. The pandemic shifted rituals to new locations and often tested what beliefs were held as truths.
This is a composite image, layering in a photo of my families hands during their Easter service (iPhone, in-home virtual mass) with a photographed mirror that I intentionally shattered.
